Essential Discussions about Non-Terrestrial Networks for 6G
Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTNs) are wireless communication platforms operating above the surface of the Earth, typically achieved using satellites in low, medium or geostationary orbit as well as drones, High Altitude Platforms (HAPS) and other aerial systems. A component of 5G since 3GPP Release 17, there is now general agreement that future 6G will feature the “native integration” of NTN from the outset. Recognizing the importance of the topic, ETSI recently held a Conference on ‘Non-Terrestrial Networks, a Native Component of 6G’ (https://www.etsi.org/events/2306-etsi-ntn-conference#pane-1/). The conference examined NTN use cases, candidate technologies, current research status and standardization roadmaps. Due to the intense interest in the 6G and NTN topics, this ETSI webinar will allow further discussion around the topic as our expert speakers will discuss and develop the priority areas for 6G and NTN. We will encourage strong audience participation during the event where the experts will answer your questions and get your thoughts / feedback on the future directions for NTN in 6G. The webinar will be presented by: - Moderator: David BOSWARTHICK, Director New Technologies (NET), ETSI - Javier ALBARES BUENO, Head of 5G/6G Program, Smart Network and Services Joint Undertaking - Nicolas CHUBERRE, 3GPP NTN Rapporteur, Thales - Maria Guta, Senior 5G 6G SatCom Solutions Architect in the European Space Agency (ESA) - Alessandro Vanelli Coralli, 6G-NTN Project Coordinator

Converging Network and Security: The Key to Accelerating Digital Transformation
Being a CIO has always been a high-impact role for any organization. With increased security threats, a massive shift of applications and workloads to the cloud, and a severe shortage of skilled IT personnel, the role is even more important to help organizations be secure and successful. Add to this exploding costs for cybersecurity insurance, and the CIO and IT teams are trusted advisors to the CEO, making IT an asset and business enabler for the entire organization. A holistic approach to the network and security architecture, software-defined seamless workflows, and a shift to an as-a-service model to consume cloud-based services are key. A new era is here. One that helps CIOs who embrace new architectures, new thinking, and approaches with converged Networking and Security (SASE), with zero trust principles applied to the enterprise WAN, to be truly transformational. This webinar will examine how Aryaka can give CIOs and IT the keys to accelerating digital transformation. A new era is here: Market Trends / Challenges What is the difference between Unified SASE and Disaggregated SASE Aryaka Vision for a Zero Trust WAN Demo of Aryaka SASE Portal
