Edge computing is calling for the convergence of applications & Network functions, running on the same K8s cluster. Containerized Network functions (CNFs) in Edges have few unique requirements such as high data plane performance (high throughput, low latency, deterministic performance), high availability of connectivity, support for multiple virtual & provider networks and service function chaining.
