We live in the C-4 era: cost-containment, compliance, continuity and carbon footprint reduction are foremost issues on the minds of business and IT planners. These concerns both drive and throttle efforts to develop a workable disaster recovery plan and to maintain its solvency in the face of frequent and, in some cases, sudden business and technology change.
In the first module, we will examine the three keys to successful planning: making a compelling business value case for the program, developing a workable service level strategy for protection and recovery functions, and developing recovery approaches that can be tested at minimal additional cost to the organisation. In modules two and three, we will analyse data protection techniques and testing techniques.
