Gartner recently announced a new market category called SASE which is expected to turn the enterprise network and network security markets upside-down. SASE is the convergence of networking and network security markets into a unified cloud platform. SASE is expected to render legacy appliance-based solutions obsolete and poses an existential threat to product bundles offered by telcos.
