Most HCIs, including those based on VMware vSAN, don't integrate with the core infrastructure that is in most enterprise data centers, specifically servers and fibre channel SAN-attached storage arrays, creating another silo.
But Hitachi's HCI, Unified Compute Platform HC (UCP HC), does. Through UCP Advisor software, UCP HC fully integrates with the Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform (VSP) fibre channel storage system.
