New Research: Boost Team Connection (Without Scheduling Another Meeting)

New research from Atlassian's Team Anywhere Lab shows that short, asynchronous manager check-ins can boost team connection, recognition, and goal clarity without adding more meetings.

The study found that video updates using Loom were significantly more effective than written updates for improving manager connection and recognition. Additionally, they discovered that:

Bi-weekly manager updates on priorities and recognition made teams feel 21% more connected, 24% more recognized, and 25% clearer on goals
Loom videos led to twice the improvements in manager connection vs. written updates
Managers can create these updates in 30 minutes per week
