Medical equipment maker recovers quickly from ransomware attack

This case study details how a major medical equipment manufacturer quickly recovered from a Ragnor Locker ransomware attack in 2023. The company used Covenco's Backup-as-a-Service with Veeam's Cloud Connect for off-site backups. When attacked, the IT director disconnected systems and contacted Covenco. Although backups were deleted, restoration was possible from the Veeam Insider Protection Zone. Within 24 hours, operations resumed on loaned hardware from Covenco.
